Bleh. [03 Jul 2008|11:23pm] kandismon [ mood | exhausted ] It's not like I don't feel like blogging, but I just don't find the time. I'm not working 24/7, but once I'm home I always feel like "Oh, I'm gonna stay in my room, forget everything else and enjoy the rest of the day all by myself." But I always end up in the kitchen and I tend to stay there 'til it's time to go to bed. Recently, I enjoy to see and talk to my flatmates, because they're dear friends to me after all. I like to listen to them, I like to know what they've done during the day etc. No need to play "Einsiedlerkrebs", I'm not feeling uncomfortable being with them. I do realize I'm not paying enough attention to those people I can mostly only keep contact with through the internet, but the last thing I need right now are ICQ, MSN and so on. I'd even prefer to talk to them on the phone, believe it or not. Entchen? Audi? xD My practical training, work experience, lab.. whatever the correct word might be is.... okay. I feel a bit under-worked, mentally. I'm not doing anything but cleaning, cutting logos, counting t-shirts etc, which is pretty dissatisfying after a while. But I'm not complaining as long as I have something to do. Boredom would be a disaster but fortunately there's always something that needs to be done. And I'm trying hard to meet their expectations as good as I can. Only 31 days to go. I look forward to the end of the training, although I like it there and think it's pretty interesting to know about everything that happens in a printing company. I even think I could imagine to work in this branche in the future. It would not be what I want to do the most, but it's an opportunity I should think about, because it's not as uninteresting as I had thought. I'm tired now :/ Didn't get much sleep last night x_X I'll just go to bed and read until I fall asleep xD after watching at least one episode of some anime.. post comment

Singapore Toy & Comics Convention 2008! ~Part Uno~ [01 Jul 2008|04:20pm] grotesqa [ mood | cheerful ] Yay! On Saturday, I met up with Bakaboi at 9:30-ish at the venue to have breakfast ^__^ We had Mac's and Cayenne decided to decapitate himself, so I fixed him too. I had hotcakes but I was too full from the coffee I had at home, so I had to give up my hashbrown to Baka XD Then Ocean came too and we went to meet Tae and the rest. Oh, and Kenneth and Wei came too! They joined us in the queue ^_^ and Wei let me play his DS for a while. Awesome! Wei is so bad at explaining things though (but I should have known, right? lol!) so I got a little lost with KiraKira Music Hour. Then~~ we got our STCC passports! I was a little irked that we had to join in the damn queue to get in. It totally defeats the purpose of pre-registering! So Tae complained to one of the staff and then they let us through :D Got myself the red STCC exclusive bearbrick! Oh, the whole convention was a MESS. So many people! Kenneth, Wei and I decided to look around ourselves. Then we went to Magma Heritage (we were kind of excited, Wei and I. I was like "Let's go to Madison's booth" and he was like "yeah okay I know!") so we were at Madison's booth, we grabbed some free can badges XD and then Madison and I were talking about Kirakishou, since he had one for sale. Then we took photos of the Pullips. Suddenly, the July Dal, Hanayame, fell from the display and I caught her, fortunately DX my heart skipped a beat! We also went to Domuya's booth, met some of Kyoru's friends, one of them was talking to me about Kyoru XD I also shot some pictures of the dolls, love the Spartan ones! But bleagh, most of the dolls just pierced my heart with their ugliness. DX And then to the Blythe (also Dollz Inc's booth) booth, then got our passports stamped, saw Stormtroopers playing the Wii (Legend of Zelda!!!) and OMFG MORI CHACK! He's so hot. I can't believe he's 35! Can you believe it? DX Then I met up with Bingren, Brian, Con... an impromptu GE Maeth faction meet! It's good to see Bingren after, what, 4 years? :D Brian and Bingren tried to brainwash me with Lineage II but I resisted! :D I looked around the convenion with them three, then proceeded to meet up with the Figurakuen gang at CHIJMES, where we had our photoshoot ^__^ and I finally met FR Legend #01 Sheep >D After that we went back to STCC because awcute wanted to go, then I bumped into Wei and he gave me one of those vinyl freebs he got. Yay! Then we went out for dinner, Edmond, Kippei, awcute and I. The rest went to Baka's place to eat I think. Bleh, not good with remembering things. Anyway, Edmond took us to Millenia Walk after dinner and we walked around a little. I reached home around 11:30pm! So tired! Here are part Uno of the photos! productive day (kinda) [30 Jun 2008|01:41pm] vego [ mood | adventurous! ] you know, i love this icon. one, i made it myself so i'm proud, and two...it's so cute and it reflects how i feel most of the time. i always feel like i'm assigned to go save the world, so i grab my stuff and head off. i mean, i don't slay beasts or save a princess, but i do work hard for people...and i could so do that if i wanted to. XD so, i've had a some-what productive day, like the title says. i made a long list for belize stuff i need get and need to pack. i have a week left, and there's so much to do! it seems that most of the stuff on this list is just little this-and-thats, which i can pick up during my days off this week. the big things are getting some field pants and some minor equipment. everything else can be solved by just going to wal-mart or academy. easy, easy. i can do it. :3 i'm getting really nervous about this stuff. with only a week left, it's getting down to the bone. i'm getting those pesky butterflies in my stomach, that tingling down my arms and into my finger tips. i getting those random, smile-provoking day dreams that come with an approaching adventure. but i'm also getting really...really nervous. but that happy, excited nervous. i can't wait. ah, my heart is pounding! my chest is tight and my giggles can't be stopped. magnificent. me and my camera are getting along very well so far. i'm learning the little tid-bits that will make your relationship very smooth. i can't wait to test the water feature of this little lady. and i gotta find a name for her before i leave. it's an Olympus Stylus 850SW, sunshine yellow. go find some pics, it's a great camera. i'll find the perfect name for her, and all will be right with the world. i guess i should go try and get some laundry started before work. i have to be there at 4, so i should eat and all that jazz as well. so, i guess i'm off! ja for now.♥ 1 comment|post comment

What is LJ compared to real words? That's why I've always chooses the time we go home together to tell you exactly how I felt about the day. I'm very sorry I've been very tired for the whole day and really was not able to enjoy the event fully. I wanted to buy something but I couldn't muster up the strength and mind to really take close looks on what I might want to purchase. But still, thank you Sean for accompanying me the whole day around Chinatown and Suntec City. Though you can really just walk a little slower for me some times because this old lady here really couldn't keep up at normal pace with one leg walking and the other one dragging lol. crafts and conceptualizing [27 Jun 2008|10:57pm] misatojaganshi [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | Prodigy - Their Law ] So currently I'm working on developing a line of stationary which I dream to eventually see sold in stores IDK D: I always wanted to make stationary so I have an excuse to do it cuz I have etsy -.- Doing the rubber stamping thing has been really amazing because it adds a whole new texture and distortion to the clean work I like to do with vectors. I need to get paid already so that I can buy more supplies and get stuff printed and start to promote myself. I want to have more products before I seriously embark on self promotion. Nehuu I'm taking my last class this term so I can finally get my degree lol, I'm 2 credits short. I signed up for this symposium class called The Next Philadelphia and it was a bust! D: Plus our final project was a TEAM paper and I was like oh hellz no! D: SO I dropped that and I signed up for a screen printing class instead because that will be infinitely more useful to me in my future creative endeavors. I tried to take a screen printing class before when I was a full time student a couple of years ago but I didn't have the time and I was taking like 20 credits that term ahha. Anyway these days I'm just trying to have my stuff have a certain consistent style that's all my own but drawing inspiration from stuff I find really cool and interesting. Last night my b/f and I were walking back from dinner and these bunch of drunk Jersey girls pull up and ask for directions and one of them was like U WANNA C MY TATTOO? and she flips down her bottom lip and DTF was tatted on it. And she was like IT MEANZ DOWN 2 FUCK! LOLOLOL!! omg wtf? hahahaha. Then the other day I saw a bunch of corporate people playing baseball in a dirty alley lmao, and then on another block there were these kids breakdancing for Obama. CNN now projects that Obama is leading in PA which is amazing considering how he lost this state in the primaries BUT every fucking day there's some young person on the street getting people to register to vote. I've never seen such an initiative before and I think its really helped him. I feel as if McCain isn't doing anything, like all the news is about what Obama is doing and how the McCain camp tries to spin it as a negative. Like the campaign finance business, like the average American doesn't give a fuck! He earned that money from small donors so in theory it is public financing, and McCain's just mad he can't raise enough money. I think luckily the intense Evangelicals aren't backing McCain, it was those people who put G.W Bush in the White House omfg D: Anyway I'm really ready for this country to get back on the right path and the rest of the world to stop hating us :/ Oh and for the dollar to earn some value again lmao 3 comments|post comment
